Good stuff! Takes me back and reminds me of the music in ''Chrono Trigger'', especially ''Froggs Theme''. It has an epic feel that could be built upon but I quite enjoy this 'simple' adventurous style as well!
Keep it up!

ChronoNomad responds:

Glad you like it, and thanks for leaving a review!

Funny that you mention Frog's Theme from Chrono Trigger. I actually whipped up a cover of it just before this round of the competition officially began, having been so inspired by this song and its medieval vibe. Go check it out! Go! GO NOW! :D

Why have I not heard this before now! I'm smiling ear to ear :D Thank you for this! And keep it up!

FoxPirate715 responds:

Thank you! You're very sweet, and I love to share smiles! =D

I love your heavier stuff, f¤ckin' awesome. Reminds me of "Destroid's" stuff, simple but effective!

SWeissenP responds:

Thank you!

You seem to grasp the basics, but it's kinda hard to give any input not knowing what kind of house you're trying to make. Listening to this I feel the bass could be worked upon, play around with it more because right now it sounds kinda old. The melody works well but it feels a bit more like a trance melody than house. Great sounding percussions, nothing to complain about there.

Overall I think it sounds a bit empty, playing around with the bassline, adding more hi-hats and a snare drum/clap to create a flowing beat might solve the issue.

Keep it up!

This is really good, keep it up son and post more of your stuff!

This is catchy and really well made. Only complaint is that you could play around with the bassline more. A good place to let loose and add a bit of bass solo/variation would be around 01:06~ when you have the break beat. Other than a solid tune!

8BitPICE responds:

Thank you! Yeah i might do something about that. But sometimes my ideas just stop. It sucks but hey what are you gonna do. Thanks for the review though! :)

Amazing stuff going on here, if you haven't heard the Chrono Trigger soundtrack I'd recommend that you give it a listen, I think you'd like it :)

dagys responds:

Oh yeah, that game is an absolute classic and the musical score is legendary! That and a lot of other classic video game series (Megaman, Castlevania, etc) that have influenced my music. Thanks for the review!

Wow that piano melody, wow. I'm jealous! As others have said, drums could use a little work (variation/crash being a bit loud) but other than that I really like it, good job!

This could easily be a tune in a final fantasy type game, really well done!

wandschrank responds:

Thank you!

I like it a lot, good job! Only complaint is that the clap that comes in at 00:27 is a little loud compared to the rest of the tune, other than that there's nothing that bothers me :)

Keep it up!

wandschrank responds:

Thanks!

Yes, you're probably right. Sadly, I don't have the original project file anymore, so this is the only version I could upload. :)

I enjoy creating stuff in different mediums. Currently exploring the world of chip/8bit music.
